Subsurface Investigation Services in Support of the Poland AP 1000 Project

Experienced Civil Engineering, Geotechnical services, or other Companies capable of conducting subsurface investigations on a project location for the Poland Nuclear Power Plant. Provide planning services, equipment, documentation, and subsurface investigations that meet scope of work, specification, and other subcontract requirements. Interested companies must (i) update your Company's information in Bechtel's iSupplier portal at https://supplier.becpsn.com link and (ii) complete the Poland Prequalification Questionnaire with sufficient detail, for Bechtel evaluation.

The prequalification criteria shall include but not be limited to (i) demonstrated experience in furnishing similar subsurface investigation scope on the past or current projects; (ii) meeting nuclear quality requirements with certification to ASME NQA-1 or ISO 19443, or equivalent certification, alternatively, ISO 9001 Certified and ability to work to Bechtel’s nuclear quality management system; (iii) certification of compliance with legally mandatory requirement; (v) financial standing (solvency) and (vi) organizational capabilities as further described in the Poland Prequalification Questionnaire.
Upon Bechtel’s evaluation of your response to the Poland Prequalification Questionnaire, Bechtel will notify if your Company meets, conditionally meets, or does not meet the prequalification requirements that closely match the requirements. Your Company's submission of Prequalification Questionnaire does not automatically qualify your Company to be a prequalified Company.
Each prequalified Company will be required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Companies meeting the prequalification criteria and who have executed the NDA will be invited to submit the proposals for subsurface investigation services.
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) document shall include the subsurface investigation scope, including but not limited to mobilization of adequate number of equipment and staff to the project site, movement of equipment on site, completion of investigation services and demobilization. The technical services may include, but is not limited to, permitting, geotechnical borings (to depths 200+ meters), soil sampling and laboratory testing, in-situ geotechnical and geophysical testing, groundwater sampling and laboratory testing, groundwater well installation, development and monitoring, and preparation of a data report.
Proposal may be provided in EURO, PLN (Polish Zloty), USD or other currencies as may be approved. Furthermore, the proposals will be requested as a firm fixed price (not subject to any price adjustment) with agreement to unit rates for change management.
Award criteria shall be based on a combination of price and technical, quality, and commercial requirements as included in the Bid Document.
Any Companies that do not meet the legally mandatory compliance requirement will be excluded.
The procedure for the Company to gain access to classified information, as required, will be subject to compliance with the executed NDA, Applicable Export Laws, Applicable Laws, and Applicable Safeguards Laws which will be included in the RFQ document.
